They're a sweet, delicious addition to your diet and the health advantages of almonds are legion. They develop on a pine which can be native to the Middle East and South Asia. The pine it self is just a deciduous pine which develops up to about 33 legs tall, and only a little under a foot in diameter. The tree is natural in the beginning, become purple when subjected to sunlight and by its second year, the timber has brought on a dull coloring. The leaves are up to 5 inches long, serrated, and the plants are white or light pink, with five petals. The trees make practical almonds inside their third year following being planted. A tree is adult after five or six years, and the good fresh fruit comes adult in fall, about 7 or 8 months following flowering.
The almond was spread across the shores of the Mediterranean in old situations, into upper Africa and southern Europe, and now in to California, in the United States. It is believed that walnuts were first cultivated in the Levant region (Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan and the West Bank). The fresh fruit of the crazy almond contains amygdalin, which, once the seed is crushed, chewed or elsewhere wounded, becomes prussic acid (hydrogen cyanide).
